'Tonight's weather forecast calls for Scattered Thunderstorms, and few my be severe...' Announced the weather man from the TV in the rec room of the base...
"THUNDERSTORMS!! Aw man, I'm afraid of thunderstorms..." The redhead said from across the room.
"Baby..." Athena said under her breath.
"What did you just freakin' call me!"
"GIRLS!! Lets not have a repeat of the Doritos incident..." Molly pleaded from her seat in front of the TV. "And you know what, I'm terrified of thunderstorms too...'
"Hehe... Doritos... Starscream... Ah good times..." Carly giggled. "Well, at least we have the Autobots here to keep us occupied during the storm... right..."
"Yeah, I can always go do target practice with Ironhide to muffle out the thunder..." Athena agreed.
All three girls screamed as the unexpected crack of thunder rumbled through the base.
"See ya!" Athena said, bolting to Ironhide's quarters for her target practice.

starting anew from the flutter
and the sputter of lungs.
a vacant sea filled with feathers
and tumultuous clatter,
ribs in a treacherous pattern
resembling exiting rungs.
i want to wrestle the angels,
your tendency is the ladder.
involved with full indiscretion,
trading lazy for lace.
unspool the curse of the long-
limbs in a languorous flexion
i like the stab of the ankles,
you need the curves intersected.
opting to cull my extents
with trans-dimensional vigor.
spent my dysphoric corrections
on reconnecting lax ends.
lips in a spurious accent
feign a passionate rigor.
i tie myself to the anchor,
you extricate and ascend.
